Terria has been selected, alongside Amristar, to support Jacobs in delivering the Spatial Digital Twin for the Western Australian Government’s Spatial WA Program. Under the initial delivery contract, the partners will develop the digital twin and demonstrate its value across key use cases including infrastructure delivery, planning, land management and emergency preparedness.

Spatial WA is a whole-of-government initiative led by Landgate in collaboration with more than 30 agencies. The programme aims to improve how spatial data is accessed and used across the public sector by integrating maps, imagery and real-time data into a single environment that supports coordinated planning and decision-making.

Terria will provide the technology that enables agencies to integrate and visualize diverse datasets through a web-based platform. By consolidating information from transport, environment, planning and infrastructure functions, the Spatial Digital Twin is intended to support more efficient processes and better-informed decisions across government.

Tools for agencies and communities

Jacobs‘ Vice President Digital Architecture & Advisory Adrian Day said: “The Spatial Digital Twin is more than a technology solution; it is a catalyst for change that will help shape a more connected, informed and resilient Western Australia. We’re excited to partner with Terria and Amristar on this landmark initiative for Landgate.”

Ana Belgun, CEO of Terria, said: “We are honoured to support Western Australia’s bold vision for their digital twin. At Terria, our mission is to make complex information from transport, environment, planning and infrastructure teams accessible and easy to use. By investing in this capability now, WA is showing real foresight –  creating a platform that not only addresses today’s needs but also gives agencies and communities the tools to plan smarter and build a more resilient future.”

This partnership extends earlier Australian Government investment in Terria’s technology into a new jurisdiction, demonstrating its relevance to state-wide spatial infrastructure. Terria will remain closely involved as the Spatial WA Digital Twin moves into delivery and future enhancement phases.
